10:00am to 10:20am Artists were welcomed to The Great Hall and received their welcome packets

10:20 am Welcome by Kathleen Bitetti of the Massachusetts Artists Leaders Coalition and Anita Walker, executive director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) (Great Hall)

10:25am Welcome and opening remarks by Legislators and elected officials (Great Hall)

11am Artists were invited to attend a public hearing by the Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts & Cultural Development on House Bill 3692- An Act Relative to the State House Art Commission (Hearing Room A-2)

11:30am-1pm Artists visited their Senator's and Representative's offices

1-2pm Networking & Information Sharing Brown Bag Lunch (Great Hall)

2-3:00pm Roundtable/Brainstorming Discussion (Great Hall)

Discussion on protecting the rights and property of individuals and small businesses who create Intellectual Property. Artists were welcomed by State Treasurer Steve Grossman. The discussion was lead by Representative Christopher Walsh.

Also attending was key staff of the Attorney General's Office,the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, The Joint Committee on Community Development and Small Businesses, The Massachusetts Cultural Council, The Joint Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development, The Judiciary Committee, MALC and more.
